The ARRO house, built in 2012, was not the first home R + A designed together. Although, it is the first home that they were able to design for themselves. This modern, green family home is located in the renowned Dallas sustainable development 'The Urban Reserve.'

Built on a 40' wide lot, the home design is efficient in every way. There are no hallways or empty spaces. Each space has a use and is used daily, following the principals of "The Not So Big House."

This home meets LEED Gold requirements and includes elements such as geothermal heating and air conditioning, exterior rainscreen siding, green materials, efficient fixtures and fittings, TPO roofing as well as framing, material, plumbing & electrical efficiencies.
